The Louis Vuitton Aviator Monogram

I am not a big LV fan. I don't own a thing with the LV monogram. Although, I like Marc Jacobs' work a lot, I am drawn to his eponymous line more than this French giant brand he's spearheading.

There is something about his collections for pre-fall and fall 2010 that's somehow making me reconsider the brand. I am taking a liking for the 50's-60's wasps waists and circle skirts. And more so for its' pre-fall steel lamé jacquard lined Aviator Monogram. Trimmed with calfskin leather and comes with an adjustable and removable strap, this wonderfully-shaped tote caught my fancy.

My pick would be the navy/ marine. And for its size (LxHxD: 15.3" x 21.2" x 9.8"), it can easily work as a mummy bag/ diaper bag for me and Le Misch. But for US$3270, are they nuts?

This would have been my first LV bag, but for that ridiculous price, I guess not.

Sigh.
