three years

Three years ago today and months long before that, we decided to throw a small party in Bali.
Three years ago today, I donned this dress and slipped on those sandals.
Three years ago today, I walked down the aisle of Conrad's Infinity Chapel and got blown away (literally).
Three years ago today, these people made our day beyond special.
Three years ago today, we partied the night away in a setting of our dreams.
Three years ago today, we said yes to a lifetime.

And Just Like That.. She's Two

Two years ago today we were gifted with this little bundle of joy whom, little did we know, would rule our universe since then.

Happy birthday to the daughter of our dreams. You are loved beyond words.

It is an honor to watch the person you are becoming but please, please, not too fast.

Complete

The Mr. is back from a long, tiring business trip and we are once again complete. Le Misch and I woke up early yesterday to pick him up from the airport and he came bearing gifts. Little things he picked up from where he was the last 10 days. Sweet.

Some Spanish and Dutch Goodness.

Those little espadrilles are even cuter on the little girl's tiny feet and those 'Holland' shoes as she likes to call it has gone to dinner out last night and to the grocery this morning already. She refused to wear anything else! Uh-oh...

I couldn't get enough of the Filipinos chocolate snack and of course, the LOEWE! Thank you Mr. P. It feels so good to have you back.

an amazing gift

"Mischka, I've always wondered how it would be to have a baby. I never thought it would be like you. You are an amazing gift." Those were the words uttered by dear hubby as our darling toddler was being her jolly self around our little abode this evening.

I was moved by what I heard. You see, it is rare to get that kind of reaction, all the more that kind of emotion from our man. That is why I just had to write this in at such an ungodly hour. In the hopes that someday, our dear Mischka will get to read and appreciate it.

At dinner time this evening, having her dessert.

Tonight too, she picked up a book, hugged her cow, tucked herself in bed and declared she's going to sleep by saying "night-night."

An amazing gift, indeed.
