snaps from the weekend

A trip to Marina Bay Sands, a chance upon Baybeats in Esplanade, and a case of Roseola (yes that's right, Roseola).

That weekend that was.

Zadig & Voltaire. Something to look forward to, Singapore.
Gondolas.
A wall at the hotel.
If they can do that,
 Le Misch can do this.

Baybeats at Esplanade
What Singapore has been up to.

Dinner
Exploring the Japanese library.
Tangerine, teal, and green. Sometimes they can work well together (at least, I thought it did!)
The elements:
Marc Jacobs tangerine wrap top
Old Navy teal shorts
Vintage green glass bead necklace (which hubby thought was 'funny-looking')
Cole Vintage sandals (not seen in the picture)

Katsumi Udon, what Misch and I usually have here.
She looooves it.
Oh yes, she really does.

Sunday Morning
I was about to get this,
but my attention was called, because of this.
I guess we just have to come back, Bird & Co.
Roseola strikes. Unwanted guest, please don't stay too long.

Don't wanna end this on an unhappy note. Le Misch is doing great and fighting the virus (arrgh!) with panache.

Here's to a great week ahead!

its official

Yes, it's official. Our Singapore fling is coming to an end. Hubby is relieved (well, in a month or so) from his ball and chain and has officially signed his life away to a giant back home.

Bitter-sweet it is, actually. Just when Le Misch and I were beginning to enjoy our mischmashed lives here, we now have to pack up and go. But that's how it will be. We are grateful for the blessings that come our way, may it be big or small. And Le Misch and I will happily trail our man. Simply because, we (us three) are a team.

On our way back from walking hubby to work. One of the many things we'll surely miss.

Hence, Le Misch and I are officially launching OPERATION: Enjoy Singapore! for our last month here. Now, that should be fun!

Up next, our snaps from the weekend!

dissection of an ensemble

Ok, so I have decided to join the bandwagon (of fashion and lifestyle bloggers' daily sartorial takes) and share with you my ensembles (once in awhile) should you be interested.

I know how this can come off as trivial, but hey, I enjoy looking and knowing what other people are wearing, so why not share mine along with some thoughts and tips (again, should you be interested), right?

So first off, is what I wore the other day when Le Misch and I had some errands to run in Orchard Road.

I throw in this boyfriend pair when I'm laziest to dress up. I have to use hubby's belts on it every time, as mine are just too short for this extra loose pair. Worn with a basic tee, basic black flats, and a statement necklace.

The elements:
Zara boyfriend jeans
H&M white basic tee
Armani Exchange black belt
H&M black ballet flats
SM Dept Store beaded necklace (oh yes, SM, for less than 400 pesos/ $8 USD)

I was trying on this beautiful beaded silk top from TIBI at Tang & Co. Yes, the moment Le Misch dozes off, I take advantage and do some shopping as that is the only time I can, really. We always need bigger fitting rooms though.

And the moment she wakes up, forget about Tang & Co. We head to the 4th floor where all the toys are

    a mischmashed pair

If there is a pair of shoes that embodies my mischmashed life, it would be this.

    Balenciaga, F/W 2010-2011

The 70's is commanding a strong presence in the Fall runways and evident to the fact is this mélange of acrylic, leather, foam, and plywood of a shoe. Whew!

But no, I am not getting this pair. It's a little too much for me. And besides, the mummy in me will argue on it's practicality. Not to mention hubby, on its insane 4-figure price tag.

This number will sure have some space in my fantasy closet.

    Wait, its Friday already?

Oh, hello there weekend! Nice to have you back!
