Clutch Sightings

As a designer, nothing else makes your heart aflutter but women whose style you adore, appreciate your work.  Not that I ever fancy myself as one. I am just always giddy to see my clutches clutched by uber-chic women like these three. Allow me to share with you my favorite clutch sightings.

Patricia from Paradigma added a jolt of color to her all black ensemble with the Kirstie.

Sarah of Fashion Eggplant graced Megastyle's virtual pages with the sold-out orange Jenna in hand. 

Only Lana of Hautepot can wear red this good. Too bad this Jenna is sold-out too.

Clutched

Over the long weekend, Le Misch and I found time to make vignettes of my new clutches. I'm not just saying this. She really did help me with these. She picked out the accessories and was just eagerly putting things together, asking me if they match or not. Having a girl is just seriously fun, isn't it, mothers-of-little-girls? Of course, I have no idea how it is to have a boy but I bet its pretty awesome too. 

Moving on, may we present to you... the latest pieces to join our small collection. I have more in the works but these 4 are yours for the picking over at CHICIFY. 

The popular Jenna patchwork is back in new color combinations. Orange is a strong hue but when paired when an old favorite, Mr. Tan, with a bit of hair leather in zebra thrown-in, you get a nice mix of unexpected textures coming together like they were made for each other.

If orange is too much of a showstopper yet you still want something interesting, this tonal synthesis of hair calf leather, subtly shimmering bronze, and distressed tan is one for you. A closer look at it, here. 

The Kirstie is a personal favorite. I like the element of surprise it has in that vertical stripe of zebra-print hair leather. Tan for me is as classic as black and the POC (pop-of-color!) the brass zipper brings has just the right amount of zest.

Talk about zest and this Kirstie is full of it. It's in textured skin with leopard print hair leather vertically sliced in the middle. Add the yellow brass zipper to the equation and this one's definitely far from mellow.

These are all in full leather and are all lovingly handmade by local artisans. We only have limited pieces available as I know you like it like that. I do too.  

A Peek at What's Inside the Brown Bag

Forgive me for being such a tease. I just could not contain my excitement especially when these babies are looking so rad! Wanna get your hands on these? This is not your typical holiday bazaar, that's for sure. Its more like an artisan market provided for local talent and entrepreneurs where a bevy of one-of-a-kind finds await you. Come drop by our booth and  let's have a chitchat. Le Misch and I will show what we've been up to. It's a date!  

Weekend Tidbits

I didn't take much snaps from our weekend. Not to say it was short of awesome, in fact I had a wonderful time catching up with old friends. How did you spend yours?

I have a full week ahead and I'm guessing so is everyone else. I had a feeling November will zoom by without me noticing it, and I couldn't be more right! With only one week to go and its officially the crazy month of December.  

Oh and my to-do list seems to be getting longer on its own, its horrifying. Meanwhile let me leave you with a sneak peek at whats to come to my line of clutches soon. 

It's full leather. One part soft and supple. One part textured and sturdy. And it boasts the scent of leather that smells soooo good.

First Year, First Ever Blog Giveaway!

Over the weekend, I had a surreal realization: I started blogging June of last year. So whoa! 1 year!! Honestly, I never really thought I'd enjoy doing this. I did it because I wanted to reach out to our friends and family back home when we were still based in Singapore. To give you an idea of the size of the clutches, I had our intern, Dani, take photos of me today for that purpose. It's light and roomy and may be on the oversized side and I loved it like that! I honestly couldn't pick a color to keep for myself. Oh well.

a typical day

As I mentioned here before, I love involving Mischka in everything that I do, big or small. A typical day for us can be crazy, running errands from one end of town to the other. Some days can be uneventful (but blissful) at home, baking, reading or just plain lounging around. My mission is simple -- do at least one productive thing every single day. 

Last week for us was very busy. I had a boxful of new stocks to deliver to their respective outlets. Normally the whole process of preparing, tagging, wrapping, and delivering is taxing (especially if you do everything yourself-- not that I'm complaining) but with Le Misch around, even if there is more work, it seems lighter and a lot more fun!

Pluck is a charming little boutique with a cafe and an ice cream parlour. Their ice cream is a must-try! And the shop, a must-visit!
